No ano em que o mundo celebrou os 250 anos de nascimento de Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a ópera “Idomeneo – O Rei de Greta” foi encenada no palco do Teatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro. O elenco, todo ele brasileiro, foi encabeçado pelo tenor Fernando Portari, a soprano Janette Dornellas e a mezzo soprano Luisa Francesconi.

In the year in which the world celebrated the 200th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the opera “Idomeneo – the King of Crete” was performed on the stage of the Municipal Theatre of Rio de Janeiro. The entirely Brazilian cast was led by the tenor Fernando Portari, the soprano Janette Dornellas and the mezzo soprano Luisa Francesconi.
