As part of the general program of the “Art of Africa” event, held at the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center in Rio de Janeiro, the film show was produced from November 4 to 16, 2003. This show contributed decisively to the event as a whole, bringing to the public of Rio de Janeiro a little of the multiple dimensions and profound reach that African culture assumes in the formation and constant renewal of Brazilian culture.
