A 2ª Mostra ASPA de Cinema – América do Sul e Países Árabes apresentou nove filmes de temática da cultura árabe de origens variadas no Cinema Odeon Petrobras, no Rio de Janeiro, de 20 a 24 de maio de 2009.
O evento – gratuito – fez parte da programação cultural da II Reunião de Ministros da Cultura da ASPA (América do Sul e Países Árabes), organizada pelo Ministério da Cultura, por meio da Secretaria do Audiovisual e da Diretoria de Relações Internacionais.

Cinema Odeon Petrobras, no Rio de Janeiro
2nd ASPA Cinema Festival – South America and Arab Countries presents 9 films from different origins focused on the same central subject: Arab culture. The festival will take place at Cine Odeon Petrobras - in Rio de Janeiro - from the 20th to the 24th of May.
This free entrance event is part of the cultural agenda of the 2nd meeting of Cultural Ministers from ASPA (South America and Arab Countries) and it is organized by Ministery of Culture - through the Audiovisual Agency and the International Relations Board. The festival’s opening night will be hosted by the Brazilian minister of culture Mr. Juca Ferreira this Wednesday the 20th of May at 21h00. The ministers of culture of all the participant countries will also be present.
